English to Arabic Translator

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented Arabic Translator to join our in-house translation team and provide exceptional translation services to various internal clients. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for translating, editing and proofreading a range of content types, including financial, marketing, and legal materials in Modern Standard Arabic.

In addition to serving as the primary point of contact for internal clients, you will work closely with translation vendors and contribute to quality management and proofreading. The successful candidate will also demonstrate expertise in financial translation and legal translations and exhibit an in-depth knowledge of the target language and translation tools.

To excel in this role, you must have a BA/BS in Translation, Linguistics, Arabic Language or equivalent practical experience, as well as 3+ years of financial translation experience and a sound knowledge of Arabic culture. Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in other European or Asian languages such as Danish, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Norwegian, Spanish or Swedish would be advantageous.

As our Arabic Translator, you will play a critical role in localising various types of content while adhering to our house tone of voice. You will also work collaboratively with management to complete ad-hoc projects and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Overall, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to help us deliver quality translation services to our clients.

Bachelor's degree in Translation.

Proven experience in Legal Arabic Translation.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
