Job Title: Arabic Translation Manager

We are currently seeking experienced, motivated and versatile Arabic Translation Managers to join our dynamic global team based in six key locations: London, Riyadh, Dubai, New York, Washington DC and Paris.
Job Description:
The Arabic Translation Manager will oversee and manage translation projects from a diverse array of clients from various industries. The successful candidate will have a profound understanding of the Arabic language and its translation processes and challenges. This role involves handling key accounts, facilitating communications between translators and clients, and maintaining the highest standard of translation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate translation projects, ensuring on-time, high quality deliveries to clients.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of Arabic translators.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of the translation process.
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with clients, ensuring that their requirements are accurately communicated and met.
- Maintain and develop client relationships and work on expansion of client base.
- Analyze and resolve problems associated with translation projects.
- Evaluate translators' performances regularly, and provide necessary training or support.
- Adhere to and enforce company's translation standards, processes, and procedures.
- Attend conferences, training sessions and seminars to keep up with the trends in the industry.
- Comply with the company’s financial policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Arabic and English. Knowledge of other languages would be advantageous.
- Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, or a related field. Masters or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in translation project management, with demonstrated managerial skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in computer and translation software.
- Certification by a professional organization (like ATA) will be a plus.
